ABOUT NUUFORM
NUUFORM came about because of something that my father would always say. He is an inventor and always says that an invention needs to be New Useful and Un-obvious (NUU). I started a small knitwear collection in 2015 that fell very much outside of the normal fashion schedule and “norms”. Each knit was one-size and one of a kind. The important thing to me was that I was knitting them myself and designing them on the fly. They were pieces of clothing but also art objects in themselves. The line started in 2015 and was active from 2015 until 2017 when I took a hiatus from the project.
NUUFORM is run by Rachel Sperry who lives and works in Portland, Maine.
